Bird Puppet Kids Craft

Bird Puppet Craft Supplies:

Bottle tops
Glue
Glitter
Googly eyes
Small triangles of paper or felt
Colourful feathers
Craft sticks

Bird Puppet Kids Craft

Fill the bottle tops with glue.

Sprinkle glitter over the glue.

Add googly eyes and a little beak.

Choose some colourful feathers and stick them to the back of the bottle tops. We used sellotape, but when the children were playing with the puppets some of the tape came off, so maybe glue might work better.

Stick craft sticks to the back of the bottle tops. Once dry these adorable bird puppets are ready to play with.

Harry and Daisy have loved making up little puppet shows with these puppets. Their puppet shows usually end up with the puppets bashing into each other though! Daisy has also enjoyed using them to act out the nursery rhyme 'Two Little Dickie Birds'.
