Foam soap is the perfect ingredient for snowy sensory play (and clean too which is an added bonus!) Toddlers and preschoolers will love investigating and exploring the different textures in this small world winter scene.

Snowy Sensory Play
We used our sand and water tray for this activity. We filled half of the tub with soapy foam and the other half with cotton wool, pom poms and pipe cleaners. We put a small pot of water in the middle. Then we added some animals that we though would like to live in our snowy winter scene.
Harry had so much fun playing and exploring in the foam. He got stuck right in and loved dropping the pom poms on the animals to make it snow on them.
He loved piling up the foam and using it to hide all the animals.
Then he took himself around the house looking for other objects that he could hide and cover in foam.
This activity was really simple to set up and an activity we will be revisiting again soon.
