How to build a simple teepee
Start by pushing your bamboo canes into the wigwam cane grip.
Pull the bamboo canes together at the top and tie together with string. Pull the bottom of the canes out until your teepee is your desired size and shape.
Drape the sheet around the bamboo canes and peg it into place (you don't need many, Harry just likes adding lots of pegs!) I folded our kingsize sheet over to make it the right height. Then I pulled the sheet to the top of the teepee frame and pegged it into place at the top using a few pegs. I added extra pegs at the bottom of the bamboo canes to keep the sheet in place. I pulled back the extra fabric on each side of the teepee to make an opening, (but Harry sometimes likes to leave it closed so it's extra cosy inside.)
Make your teepee cosy by adding blankets, cushions and fairy lights. I wove our lights in and out of the bamboo at the top of the teepee (just make sure you use fairy lights that don't get hot!)
We like to fill our teepee with teddies, have picnics and watch movies in our teepee.
What will you do in yours?
