This process art activity is a fun, messy accompaniment to the popular nursery rhyme 'The Wheels on the Bus'.
Todays rhyme time activity was extra messy but Harry absolutely loved it. After we had finished he said to me 'that really was a great activity mummy!' For more 'The Wheels on the Bus' activities from other bloggers scroll to the bottom of this post or check out our other nursery rhyme ideas.

The Wheels on the Bus Art Activity
Watch the wheels going round and round as you roll the bus through the paint and across the paper.
- Roll out your paper to make a road
- Squirt some paint at one end of the paper
- Roll the bus across the paper
Harry had a great time rolling the bus across the paper making painty tracks. He enjoying singing the nursery rhyme 'The Wheels on the Bus' as he played.
After a while he decided to invent his own version of the nursery rhyme. We had the babies on the bus going crawl crawl crawl as Harry covered his hands in paint and crawled across the paper.
Then we had the daddies on the bus going walk walk walk as Harry dipped his feet in the paint and walked across the paper.
Finally a paint covered Harry decided the children on the bus would go ride ride ride and he sat on top of our bus and rode it across the paper.
Harry enjoyed singing the nursery rhyme, making up silly versions of the rhyme and getting totally covered in paint.
