To make a set of superhero puppets you will need:
- Superhero mask and badge printable
- Craft sticks
- Flesh coloured card
- Coloured paper/ card
- Pens
- Glue
The LEGO superhero books (UK link/ US link - affiliate referral links) are brilliant to read alongside this craft. We love the phonics superhero book linked above for children just beginning to learn to read.
How to make Superhero puppets
Download and print out a copy of the superhero masks and badges. Cut out some oval head shapes from a flesh coloured piece of card. Try to make the ovals the same size as the superhero masks.
Glue the superhero masks to the head shapes and draw on eyes/ mouth etc. We used googly eyes for Superman.
Glue the heads and badges onto a craft stick. If your chosen superhero wears a cape stick a triangle of coloured card to the back of the craft stick.
Here is a proud looking Harry with Superman!
Once your superhero puppets are dry you can be imaginative and create your own superhero adventures. Harry has LOVED making up funny puppet shows with his Dad.
