DIY Sponge Water Bombs

We made the best of the summer sunshine today by making sponge water bombs to use for a huge family water fight. It was so much fun! It takes 2 minutes to make these simple DIY water bombs and all you need is a pack of sponges and some elastic bands.

You will need:

A pack of sponges
Elastic bands

How to make sponge water bombs

Cut each of the sponges into 8 equal strips.

Bunch the sponge strips together and place an elastic band around the middle.

Put them in a bowl of water and get ready to get wet!

Harry loved this activity and he couldn't wait to soak us all. Daisy had fun too but she was more interested in using the sponges to clean our garden toys!
