Disney On Ice is always a magical experience and we weren't disappointed with our latest visit to the show in Birmingham. We went to see the full edition of 'Frozen' and loved every minute of the skating, singing and dancing. The special effects and costumes were out of this world!
It is the third time we have been to Disney On Ice and we love it just as much every time. The show is really well put together and a real must see for any Frozen fans. Harry, aged 5, had been really looking forward to the show and excitedly told everyone for weeks beforehand that he was going to watch the 'full version' of Frozen. He sat mesmerized by the story, characters and special effects throughout the show. He totally loved the huge inflatable snow monster that appears in the second half. Seeing Olaf was a real highlight for Daisy who was asking for 'oman' (snowman) from the moment we sat down. Daisy is 2 now so she was old enough to enjoy the show this time and she really made the most of every moment of it as she sang and danced through the performance.
Micky Mouse and Mini Mouse along with the other disney characters make a brief appearance at the beginning to introduce the show, then the audience is taken on a journey to a world of princesses, snow and magic.
Everyone knows and loves the story of 'Frozen' and this performance tells the whole story. Anna journeys across the snow with mountain man Kristoff and his reindeer Sven, before they find Elsa in her magical castle. Olaf, the snow monster and the mystical trolls all make appearances and the special effects are stunning. It's impossible not to join in with singing the well know 'Let it go' and 'In the summer' and it's lovely to see so many children getting into the spirit of the show by wearing Frozen costumes.
I would recommend the show for any age, I loved it as much as the children!
