Easy Cheerios Bird Feeders

Work on fine motor skills and feed the birds at the same time with these easy cheerios bird feeders. Toddler and preschooler will love threading cheerios (and eating them!) as they make a little treat for the birds.

You will need:

Pipe cleaner
Cheerios

Cheerio Bird Feeders

Make a small loop at one end of the pipe cleaner. Then have fun threading cheerios onto the pipe cleaner, try not to eat too many as you go!!!

Once the pipe cleaner is full of cheerios twist the two ends of the pipe cleaner together and bend the bird feeder into any shape you choose. We went with a heart shape. Older children might like to experiment with twisting more than one pipe cleaner together to see what they can create.
