We love child made keepsakes and have an ever growing collection of them. We have lots more Christmas ornament ideas too if you want to take a look.
Harry made this personalised photo frame ornament at school to sell at their Christmas sale. He was so proud of it and I LOVE it! I love that they used Christmas props to make the photographs extra christmassy too.
You will need:
- A photograph
- 4 craft sticks
- red card
- Foam shapes
- Glitter
- Ribbon
Christmas Photo Frame Ornament
Begin by gluing the corners of four craft sticks together in a square shape. Using a glue gun is the quickest way to do this, but any glue will work. Once the glue has dried draw around the craft stick square onto red card. Cut out the red card square and stick it to the craft sticks.
Stick a circle of glittery foam into the centre of the frame and then stick a photograph on top. Decorate the craft stick frame with foam shapes and glitter.
Staple a ribbon to the back of the frame so that it is ready for hanging on the Christmas tree.
The completed photo frame ornament is adorable. It is a personal Christmas decoration and keepsake all in one.
This Christmas craft was made by Harry (aged 6) at school, but it would be perfect for toddlers and preschoolers too. It is a great thing to sell at a Christmas sale as what parent couldn't resist buying their child's photo ornament. These salt dough star photo frame ornaments are cute too!
