Are you looking for more fun and easy activities to celebrate New Years Eve with the kids? Little children might enjoy doing some firework themed activities such as painting fireworks on bread to make edible artwork, trying out the magic milk firework science experiment or making playdough fireworks. Babies and toddlers don't need to be left out either, they might enjoy a firework themed sensory bottle to play with.
You might also want to use the New Year as an excuse to create a few more keepsakes. Get your child to take our interview questions for kids or create a family memory jar.

How to make sparkly silver slime
Begin by mixing together 6 oz silver glitter glue and 1/2 tsp baking soda in an old bowl.
Mix 1 1/2 tbsp of the contact solution into the mixture. Stir well, until the mixture thickens. It is helpful to work the contact lens solution into the slime with your hands, too. If your slime is too sticky or not firm enough, simply add more contact solution a little at a time until it reaches a good consistency.
Then simply enjoy playing with your sparkly sliver slime.
Kids will love stretching and squeezing their new slime. The sparkly, silver effect created by the sliver glitter glue and added gold glitter makes it a perfect slime to make for any celebration, such as New Years Eve. See all our New Year activities here.
