Babies and toddlers can get involved in the Christmas crafts with this unbelievably cute Nativity handprint and footprint keepsake. Using a passage from the bible as inspiration this piece of art work includes several footprints and a handprint to complete a nativity scene.

Nativity Handprint and Footprint Craft

To create your own nativity handprint and footprint keepsake your baby or toddler will need to print 2 footprints on a piece of card to create Mary and Joseph. Leave a small gap between Mary and Joseph so there is room for baby Jesus to be painted in the middle. Add detail to Mary, Joseph and baby Jesus using paint and then once the paint has dried a black pen.

Paint a stable around Mary, Joseph and baby Jesus and add a footprint angel above the stable. Outlining the footprint with a pen can add definition. You can also add a handprint donkey, a shining star and hay along the bottom of the page. 

Add the bible passage 'You will find a baby wrapped in swaddling clothing and lying in a manger' Luke 2:12 along the top of the stable along with your child's name and age.
