- Hard boiled eggs
- Paper towels
- Liquid food colouring
- Newspaper
- Plastic gloves, optional
How to make tie-dye Easter eggs
STEP 1: Gather your supplies
Before you get started, gather up all your supplies needed for the tie-dye Easter eggs. The kids will be getting so excited as they see you start to gather everything up!
STEP 2: Prepare eggs
Start by laying out newspaper onto the table to avoid any staining. Wrap each egg in a piece of paper towel and twist the top to hold it into place, tightly. (see image below)
STEP 3: Colour eggs
Next, drip the food colouring onto the paper towel covered eggs one colour at a time, making sure to cover the entire egg.
