• Rocket template
• Coloured craft papers
• Pencil
• Scissors
• Craft glue

Directions to make your rocket craft

STEP 1: Gather your supplies

Before you get started, gather up your supplies for this fun Father's Day craft! It makes it so much easier when everything is in front of you ready.

STEP 2: Prepare your handmade father's day card

Once you have your supplies, start preparing your card by cutting out the patterns. Trace the template shapes on the preferred coloured papers and cut them out.

The square shape is the card template while the rest are the necessary shapes for your super cool rocket! This includes 2 circles for the windows, 2 triangles for the wings, 1 big triangle for the tip, 1 trapezium for the bottom and 2 flame patterns for the flames!

STEP 3: Assemble the rocket

Now it's time to assemble the rocket for your handmade Father's Day card! Start by folding the square cutout in half to prepare the card and rocket base. 

Next, glue the 2 round cutouts onto the front of the card to serve as the windows. You could even add some photographs or drawings of faces to the windows!

Then, glue the big triangle on the tip of the front of the card and the trapezium shape on the bottom.

Once you've done that, glue the small triangles on the sides of the card.

STEP 4: Finalize your rocket craft

Finish off your craft by gluing the flame pattern to the bottom of the rocket card and write the message "You rocket being a dad!" or another message of choice.
