How to make this jellyfish puppet craft
STEP 1: Gather up all your supplies
Before you get started, make sure you lay out everything you need for these jellyfish puppets in front of you. This makes the process much easier!
STEP 2: Prepare the jellyfish tentacles
To begin, have your toddler or preschooler choose their desired cupcake liners for their jellyfish puppet and fold two of them in half; set aside.
Then, have them choose their desired streamers in several different colours. Cut them to your desired length and cut them in half lengthwise.
Glue the streamers inside the cupcake liner, alternating between colours. Continue to add additional layers of streamers until you're happy with the result.
Once you've done that, fold the cupcake liner over the top of the streamers and glue to secure in place. Add an additional liner on top to prevent colour bleeding from the streamers.
STEP 3: Finalise the jellyfish craft
To finish up your jellyfish puppets, glue a pair of googly eyes to one of the sides of the folded cupcake liner.
Then, glue a craft stick to the back of the liner to use the jellyfish puppets.
We hope your toddler or preschooler has a blast with their jellyfish puppets! This jellyfish craft is such a fun activity to do with them. Don't forget to check out our other ocean crafts as well.
