Cardboard tube bear craft for preschoolers (with bear template)
Bear craft supplies
- bear template (printed onto thin cardstock)
- cardboard tube
- pens
- paint
- scissors
- glue
Cardboard tube bear craft instructions
STEP 1: Get your supplies ready
Before getting started on your bear craft for preschoolers gather up all your supplies. You will need to print out the bear template (scroll to the bottom of the page) onto thin cardstock. There are two pages included in the download, one has all the pieces needed for the bear craft and the other is full of eyes.
STEP 2: Paint cardboard tube
Paint a cardboard tube brown (or any other colour you would like your bear craft to be). Leave your cardboard tube to dry.
STEP 3: Colour bear template
On the printable bear template you will find bear legs, arms, ears, facial features etc to colour, as well as a heart for your bear to hold. Use the images of the completed bear craft to see what each piece will become. Colour in all the pieces needed and cut them out.
STEP 4: Complete cardboard bear craft
Stick all the cut out pieces of the bear onto the painted cardboard tube. Look at the image below to see where to glue them. Your bear craft is complete!
