Spiders....you either love them or hate them! I have to admit I am not a fan of real spiders, but spider crafts, I love them!
This spider craft is super simple. You can either use the printable spider template as a spider coloring page or draw lines in each section of the printable to create more detailed spider line art. Whatever you choose the kids are sure to love it.

Spider Coloring Page
Spider coloring page supplies:
- Paper or cardstock
- Scissors
- Glue
- Crayons, Markers or Colored Pencils
STEP 1: Get your supplies ready
Scroll down to download and print out the black widow spider template. You can print this spider coloring page onto cardstock or paper. If you want to make Halloween cards using this printable make sure you set your printer to half size.
STEP 2: Color spider
Now it's time to color in your spider coloring page. You can do this one of two ways. Younger children will love to be handed the spider coloring page to color and decorate as they wish. For older children that want to add more detail try some line art.
Draw lines in each of the separate lined areas. Pay close attention to keep the lines within the right areas. Change your pattern to really mix things up! Keep doing this until you are finished.
Color the hourglass red and the background with bold crayons, markers or colored pencils.
STEP 3: Glue to cardstock.
This step is optional. Once finished you could cut out your completed spider coloring page and glue it onto either black or coloured cardstock.
