Christmas tree craft directions:
STEP 1: Gather your supplies
Before you get started, gather your supplies. This makes putting the Christmas tree craft together SOOOO much easier, especially when trying to keep toddlers and preschoolers entertained - though it's already a pretty easy craft!
STEP 2: Prepare the Christmas tree
To get started, cut the green paint chips into triangles. Cut as many as you like... depending on how many trees you'd like to make with your toddler or preschooler.
Older preschoolers may enjoy cutting out their own tree shapes.

STEP 3: Decorate the Christmas tree
Next, use your glue to stick the buttons onto the Christmas trees. Then, glue a yellow button or a star shape onto the top of the tree.
STEP 4: Finalise the Christmas tree craft
Lastly, use the knife to gently saw a slit into the top of the wine cork and slide the tree into place (adults only!). Repeat for as many trees as you'd like to make!
We hope you enjoy this Christmas tree craft! We know you and your toddler or preschooler will have lots of fun decorating your tree. Be sure to check out this Christmas tree fingerprint counting activity too!
