FROZEN Inspired Elsa Magic Wand Craft

With the new FROZEN movie being released and the weather getting cooler what better time to make your own Elsa wand! Kids will love learning how to make a magic wand and this snowflake magic wand craft is perfect for any little FROZEN fans! Elsa Magic Wand Craft Supplies

• Coloured craft papers
• Craft sticks
• Sequins
• Pencil
• Scissors
• Craft glue

How to make a frozen inspired magic wand

STEP 1: Prepare your supplies

Select two different coloured craft papers.  One will be used for the snowflake, the other for the star. If you have not yet printed out the template to make your own wand scroll down to get it now. 

STEP 2: Make a paper snowflake

Follow the step by step instructions below to make a paper snowflake for your magic wand.

1. Cut one of the selected papers into a square shape. Make sure it is at least 4 inches x 4 inches in size.
2. Fold the square paper into half diagonally.
3. Fold the half folded paper into even thirds.
4. Use a pencil to trace the snowflake template pattern on the folded paper from the previous step.
5. Keeping the pattern intact, cut off the rest of the paper from the folded paper.
6. Unfold the paper. You have now made your paper snowflake

STEP 3: Make a star

Grab the other paper selected and trace the 5 point star pattern on it. Cut out the star pattern. Also, cut some (6 or more) really thin paper strips from coloured craft papers. 

STEP 4: Attach the snowflake, star and paper strips

Attach the paper snowflake in the middle of the paper star using craft glue. Then attach the paper strips along the bottom side of the star. 

STEP 5: Complete magic wand

To complete your magic wand attach the star to a craft stick and then decorate. Adding sequins to decorate the paper magic wand really finishes it off nicely!  

Now it's time for your little frozen fans to use their new Elsa wand to freeze everything in sight!
