How to Make your Butterfly Valentine Treat with our Free Printable

STEP 1: Get everything ready to make your butterflies

Start by printing out our template which can be found by following the link at the bottom of the page. Print onto thick paper or thin card.

The design on the printable is slighty different to those in the photographs. If you want a different design use our butterfly printable as a template and draw around it onto patterned craft paper of your choice. 

STEP 2: Make butterfly

Cut out the fronts and backs of both butterflies.  Put the butterfly cutouts together, blank sides facing.

STEP 3: Grab your lollipops

Cut 2 slits in the centre of your butterfly for the lollipop stick. The easiest way to do this is by using a craft knife. Be careful not to rip your butterfly as you add the lollipop. 

STEP 4: Add the extra touch

You can use these butterfly templates as they are or you can decorate the butterflies. Young children will love getting creative by adding lots of sequins or glitter as desired.

STEP 5: Add eyes for even more fun!

Add eyes to the lollipop for even more fun and give your beautiful butterfly valentine treat to your valentine.
