Sensory Bottle for Toddlers
In our experience, sensory bottles for toddlers are a lifesaver! They get a kick out of exploring colours and movement but one of our favourite perks is that these bottles are extremely useful to calm down upset children. Have you ever tried watching a sensory bottle settle after it has been shaken? It is so relaxing.

- Shamrock confetti
- Gold dot confetti
- Lime green glitter
- 1 (16 ounce) plastic storage/sensory bottle
- 2 to 3 (6 ounce) bottles Elmer's Glue in clear
- About 1 cup warm water
How to make your Shamrock Sensory Bottle
STEP 1: Start by getting the glue into the bottle.
STEP 2: Mix warm water and glue
Fill the empty glue bottle about half full with warm water (about ¼ cup) and seal with the lid. Shake well to combine the remaining glue with the water. Pour into your sensory bottle and shake or stir to combine.
STEP 3: Add glitter and confetti
Now it's time to add your green glitter and gold and shamrock confetti. At this point you can add any other glitter or toys that you want to float around in your sensory bottle. Just add all the items into your sensory bottle.
STEP 4: Get the perfect glue-water ratio
Seal the jar and shake well. If the glitter or confetti does not move easily, add more warm water. If the glitter or confetti, moves to quickly, add additional glue. Continuing adding in layers with the glitter and confetti until you achieve your desired effect.
STEP 5: Seal the lid to avoid spills
When the contents of the bottle move according to your preference, seal the bottle and glue the lid closed to avoid spills. You may not need to do this if you know your toddler won't try to remove the lid.
STEP 6: Add your final touches
If desired, cover the lid with duct tape or additional decorations.
This St Patricks day sensory bottle is a delight to make and play with. It only takes a few materials and you'll be on your way to give your toddler a magical and fun experience. We hope your kids have a blast making and playing with this glittery sensory bottle for toddlers.
