Valentine’s Day Paper Bee Craft
Bee craft supplies:
1. Coloured craft papers
2. Pencil
3. Scissors
4. Black gel pen or marker
5. Craft glue
How to make your paper bee craft:
STEP 1: Grab your coloured paper
Select yellow craft paper for the bee base, black craft paper for the stripes, stinger, and the antenna. Select any coloured craft paper you want for the rest of the patterns (heart card, wings)
STEP 2: Print and cut out the bee template
Scroll down to the bottom of the page to download and print out the bee template. Trace the printed template patterns on your chosen craft papers and cut them out nicely. You can use the eye templates as they are.
STEP 3: Make your bee's wings
You can keep the wings plain and simple or you can add a border as I did for my craft. you could even add a little silver glitter to make them sparkle!
STEP 4: Time for the bee's stripes!
Grab the black stripes and attach them on the lower part of the bee base. Keep a gap between the stripes.
STEP 5: Attach the bee's body
Attach the wings on both sides of the bee base and attach the stinger on the bottom side of the base.
STEP 6: Add the antenna and eyes
Attach the antenna on the top side of the bee base and the eyes on the head part of the bee's body. Your paper bee craft is now ready. We will now be turning it into a Valentine's Day card.
STEP 7: Attach the heart-shaped card to the bee
Grab the double heart pattern and fold it in half along the join line of the 2 hearts.
Feel free to add other little hearts around the bee for extra decoration, just make sure the double heart is free to be opened, inside is where you'll write the message!
STEP 8: Write down your Valentine's Day message on the heart card!
Now it is time to write your Valentine's Day message. I love the quote 'bee mine', but you can personalise the message anyway you choose. Once you're happy with the message on the card, close the heart and you're ready to show off your Valentine’s Day Bee Card Craft.
