Valentine Heart Peeps Playdough Recipe
Valentine Heart Peeps Playdough Ingredients:
- 4 Heart Peeps
- 8-10 Tbsp Flour
- 1 Tbsp Crisco
How To Make Valentine Heart Peeps Playdough
STEP 1: Gather all your ingredients
My biggest advice is not to eye-ball it! It's tempting, I know! But to be sure it comes out perfectly, I like to measure everything and then put all the ingredients nearby to avoid creating a mess in the kitchen. Less stuff to clean up later on!
STEP 2: Put all the ingredients in a bowl
Place the 4 heart peeps, 8 tablespoons of flour, and the Crisco into a microwave-safe bowl. Get your toddlers and preschoolers involved with this step.
STEP 3: Put it in the microwave
Microwave the ingredients for 30 seconds. Take out and mix everything together. If your dough is sticky, try to add a little more flour.
STEP 4: Time to knead!
Take out of the bowl and knead in hands for about a minute. Add a little more flour if the playdough it’s sticking to your hands, but not too much.
STEP 5: Playtime!
Your Valentine peeps playdough is ready to play with. The fun now begins!
Set up the peeps playdough with a selection of playdough tools and some heart shaped cookie cutters. Adding heart sprinkles and a few cupcake cases or empty chocolate boxes will add to the fun.
Invite your toddler or preschooler to make heart shapes, pretend cakes and boxes of pink chocolates!
Let their imaginations run away with them and see what they create!
