Cardboard Chick Craft

Chick Craft Supplies:

• Cardboard
• Sandpaper or other Textured Material
• Glue
• Scissors
• Oil Pastels

Cardboard Chick Craft Instructions:

STEP 1: Trace your chick

To begin making your chick craft, first make sure to download our printable chick template. Once that's done, print it out and trace it onto the cardboard and your sandpaper sheet (or other textured material you've decided to use)

STEP 2: Colour in!

Take your oil pastels and start colouring! Colour the cardboard using a chick's usual colours or your kid's favourite ones. It's all about getting creative. How cute would a bright pink chick look!

STEP 3: Blending time

Once you're happy with the coloured cardboard, it's time for the messiest and funniest part of this craft! Using your fingertips,  blend the oil pastels until you like the result.

STEP 4: Putting it together

Now, take all the different chick's parts and put them together with a bit of glue. Let it dry and then find a place to display you cute little chicks!

Adding a bow tie or a flower in your chick's hair is a nice added touch!
