Flower template craft
Supplies you'll need for your flower craft:
- Coloured cardstock
- Flower template
- Black marker
- Googly eyes
- Glue stick
- Scissors
- Optional - photograph
How to make this flower craft using your flower template
STEP 1: Gather your supplies
Before you get started with the flower craft, make sure you've rounded up all your supplies. This makes the process much easier since everything is already in front of you.
Make sure to download and print the flower template found at the bottom of the page.
STEP 2: Prepare the flower template
To begin, select the pieces from the flower template you would like to use. There are options for different of flowers, leaves, and if you'd like to use a pot or vase.
Once you have selected your pieces, carefully cut them out. If you'd like, you can also add your child's photo to the centre of the flower template.
STEP 3: Assemble the flower
Next, you'll assemble the flower by first placing the circle in the middle of the flower shape.
STEP 4: Assemble the flower pot
Now that you've assembled the flower choose a vase or pot. If using the pot template glue the long strip to the top of the square to create the pot. You can now glue the leaves to the stem as well.
STEP 5: Finalise the flower craft
To finish up the flower craft, glue the flower to the stem and the stem to the pot or vase. If you'd like, you can write "MOM" on the flower pot to gift for Mother's Day.
STEP 6: Create additional variations using flower template
What's great about this flower template is that it gives you so many options! You can create one flower in a pot, another in a vase, and even some with your child's face in the centre.
