I love the fact that this toy car storage is made with things you probably already have on hand so it's very budget-friendly and a great way of recycling any boxes and cardboard tubes you have lying around.
Toddlers and preschoolers can have hours of fun as they play with their cardboard parking garage before carefully organising and storing their cars away.

STEP 1: Get your supplies in order.
Cut off both the right and left side flaps from your cardboard bo. From there you need to measure out and cut the construction paper that you will be covering your box in. Glue the coloured paper you've picked for the garage around the edges of the box. Cover the flab at the bottom of the box in the coloured paper you have chosen for your pavement.
STEP 3: Pile the cardboard tubes!
Now it's time to take your cardboard tubes and glue each one into the cardboard box, using your hot glue gun. Fill the box completely.
STEP 4: Mark the parking spaces.
Cut out the white sticker in thin strips and attach them on the pavement to mark the parking spaces and the road. Alternatively you could draw these on with a marker.
PRO TIP!
Use your toy cars as a guide to measure and arrange the parking spaces.Taking your black marker, add a "GARAGE" sign at the top. You can even customise it and include your child's name on it.
Now your garage is ready to be used! Fill your cardboard parking garage with all your little ones favourite cars and invite them to play.
