If you're on the hunt for a fun and hands-on craft that will keep the kids busy during the autumn months, this Apple Stamping Pop Art for Kids checks all the boxes! Kids will love getting creative as they learn a little about pop art and then create their own apple pop art craft.
We love pop art at our home; just take a look at our previous art project for kids inspired by Andy Warhol! And this time around, we chose to keep Andy Warhol's style as the central theme in this new craft!
Warhol was an American artist who transformed the art world during the sixties by taking inspiration from popular culture items and turning them into his main subject. From Coca-Cola to Campbell's Soup and all the way to portraits of famous pop culture celebrities like Elizabeth Taylor, Jackie O, and Marilyn Monroe.
He experimented with different mediums, but his most recognised style is the use of repeated images in contrasting colours.
And that's what we will get our inspiration from for this apple stamping craft; read on to learn how to do it yourself!
