How to use our Printable Superhero Mask Templates

- Cardstock
- Markers
- Scissors
- Glue stick
- Popsicle stick or string to attach to the mask
DIY Superhero Masks - Directions
STEP 1: Download and print out your superhero mask template.
Let's start with the most important part. Scroll down below and download our free Superhero mask templates. Print them out and gather all the other supplies you will need for this superhero craft.
STEP 2: Cut out your superhero mask template.
Cut out the superhero mask templates - we've included four different options!
STEP 3: Trace the superhero mask templates onto coloured card.
Use the templates you cut out in step two to trace the superhero mask shapes onto coloured card. Use a variety of different bright colours.
Alternatively you could print the template straight onto coloured card.
STEP 4: Cut out and color the shapes and symbols.
Once you have superhero masks cut out it's time to cut out from the template the shapes and symbols you'd like to use on your Superhero mask. Colour these with your favourite markers or coloured pens.
STEP 5: Attach the shapes to the superhero mask.
Cut out those shapes you've drawn in the previous step and attach them to your mask with a bit of glue.
STEP 6: Add a handheld option!
If you want to make a handheld mask, simply add a popsicle stick to the back of the mask and secure it with tape or glue.
Alternatively you can get some string, ribbon or elastic, punch a holes on both sides and tie the strings or elastic to it.
STEP 7: Playtime!
And just like that, your superhero masks are complete and ready to play with!
