STEP 1 - Print out our *free* Santa template!
To make this paper plate Santa, you need to start by printing out our printable template. Then, gather all your supplies and invite your little ones to join.
STEP 2 - Paint your Paper Plate
Grab a pencil and draw a rooftop with a little sky on the paper plate.
Using the black marker, draw a line design similar to a brick pattern on the chimney. Then, right above the chimney, take the scissors and cut a line on the plate.
Then to give it that magical Christmas effect, spread some glue around the roof and stick some white stuffing to create snow!
STEP 3 - Cut out Santa template
Now, it's time to use the template! First, cut out every shape on the printable template and trace each silhouette onto your chosen coloured paper.
STEP 4 - Put Santa together
Take the face, moustache, beard, hat's brim, hands, and sleeves cutouts and glue them onto the Santa's red body cutout.
Then add Santa's features. For Santa's nose, glue on a small red pompom and a white pompom right on top of his hat. Draw his eyes and tiny mouth using a black marker.
STEP 5 - Add the final touches to your Santa craft
Now, your Santa Claus is ready to be added to the winter "scene". First, take some glue or tape and attach Santa to a popsicle stick. Then, insert the popsicle stick through the line you cut on the paper plate.
All that is left to do now is have fun helping Santa climb up and down the chimney. Have fun singing 'When Santa got stuck up the chimney' as you go.
