It is time for another reading challenge! How many books can you read? Use our reading challenge printable to challenge yourself and record the books you read. There are 3 versions of the worksheet available for you to record reading 10, 25, 50 or even 100 books.
Anything that encourages young children to read it always welcome and this reading challenge does just that! Children can choose which challenge to take, they can aim to read 10, 25, 50 or 100 books.

Printable Reading Challenge
This eye catching reading challenge printable can be used in various ways. Older children can use it independently whilst younger children can use it alongside an adult to record the books they have shared together.
Children can either color a book jacket on the printable each time they read a book or they can go one step further and write the name of the book title in the space provided, (although this might be harder on the printables with more books as the writing space is smaller).
Whilst you don't need to set a time limit on when the challenge is completed, it could be fun to try and read 10 books in a week or 25 in a month. Maybe set a challenge that seems do-able to you!
You could even theme your reading challenge and try and read 10 non fiction books or books that include animals for example.
Whilst reading for fun is the main aim of this printable reading challenge, it could also be used for a fun sponsored read event. Children could be sponsored to read 10, 25, 50 or 100 books in a given time frame or they could be sponsored for each book they read.
However you decide to use this printable reading challenge worksheet we hope that it provide a fun way to encourage young children to do a little extra reading.
