Witch Paper Plate Craft - Directions:
STEP 1: Paint the background on the paper plate
Take your white paper plate and paint a rough yellow circle using paint brushes to make the moon in the background. Then paint the rest of the white plate green.
STEP 2: Make a slit in the paper plate
Cut a straight line just a little below the centre of the plate. Open it a bit by pressing it with your fingers.
STEP 3: Create the slider and make a broomstick
Paint a popsicle stick dark green and poke it through the cut spot on the plate, as shown below. Then take a smaller popsicle stick, tie yarn around one end to make the broom for the witch, and glue it horizontally on the top of the dark green popsicle sticks.
STEP 4: Make your paper witch
Cut out a triangular-shaped piece of paper (purple) and glue another circular piece of paper (skin colour) at its top. This will create the witch's body and head. Glue strands of yarn for hair and add a black paper hat as shown. Then using a black marker, draw the witch’s facial features to complete the witch.
STEP 5: Glue the witch to the craft stick broom
Glue the witch on its broom and enjoy your lovely DIY paper plate witch craft for kids!
Have fun moving your paper witch across the spooky sky.
