This Santa countdown is simple to make using our free printable, but oh-so-fun! The anticipation of Santa's arrival is sometimes more exciting than the day itself, but sometimes children can find it hard to understand how much longer they have to wait for Christmas day.
That's where this Santa Countdown comes in. As well as being a fun and interactive Santa craft, this Santa beard countdown is perfect for young children to be able to visually see how close they are getting to Christmas Day. As the beard fills with Cotton balls it means the big day is getting closer and children can start getting excited about Santa's upcoming visit.
This Christmas countdown printable is also a great Christmas activity for kids to encourage number recognition and counting skills.

Santa's Beard Christmas Countdown Printables - Alternative Versions
As well as being able to make this Santa countdown using the directions above, we have 2 alternative ways these printables can be used.
You can use the black and white Santa beard countdown if you want your Santa to be a bit more individual! Simply use markers or paint to add a bit of colour to the Santa hat. You could colour or paint Santa's hat red or maybe design Santa a new crazy hat!
Alternatively use the version of Santa's beard with no numbers to create a Santa craft instead of a Christmas countdown. This would work brilliantly for anyone looking for a last-minute Santa craft. Kids can have fun adding all 24 cotton balls to Santa's beard at once!
This is available in both colour and black and white.
