Toilet Paper Roll Peacock Craft

This adorable Toilet Paper Roll Peacock Craft will add some serious fun to your kid's craft time!

 

It's time to go on a toilet-paper rolls hunt and gather a few to make this too-cute-for-words peacock craft.  It is such an easy, no-fuss bird craft for toddlers and preschoolers!

To get started with this paper roll peacock craft you'll need to get an empty TP roll and some basic craft supplies (if you're the parent of crafty little ones, we suspect you will already have most of the supplies lying around)

Now, let's get to the fun part and start crafting!

 

Toilet Paper Roll Peacock Craft

TP Roll Peacock - Supply List:

• Empty TP Roll
• Craft Foam or Construction Paper 
• Paint Pens
• Craft Eyes 
• Craft Feathers
• Hot Glue 

Bird Toilet Paper Roll Craft - Instructions:

STEP 1 - Cover the toilet paper roll:

Prepare all the materials you'll be using and then start by cutting the foam (or construction paper) to the size of your toilet paper roll. Glue it in place. 

Alternatively you can paint your toilet paper roll blue, but you will need to factor in drying time. 

STEP 2 - Give your peacock eyes and a beak

Choose two googly eyes for your peacock and glue them to your toilet paper roll. Cut one small triangle from your yellow foam (or construction paper) and glue it on as the beak. 

STEP 3 - Decorate your peacocks body

Use paint pens to decorate your peacock. Add dots around the peacocks eyes and across its belly area. 

STEP 4 - Give your peacock feathers

Now it's time to give your peacock some fun, colourful feathers! Choose a selection of feathers in blue, green, purple and yellow. Glue the feathers onto the back of the cardboard tube in a fanned out shape so they can be seen from the front.  (see images below)
