How to Make Your Printable Spider Craft
STEP ONE: Get your spider coloring sheet and gather your supplies
Before you get started with this fun Halloween spider craft, make sure you have everything you need. Invite your child to choose what colors they want for their spider coloring sheet. You can also use watercolor paints, colored pencils, or crayons in place of markers.
If you don't already have a spider web coloring page printed out, it's available for purchase as part of our 3d bug pack in the shop or you can scroll down to grab just the spider pdf. All you have to do is download and print!
STEP TWO: Color your spider coloring sheet
After everything is ready to go, time to get coloring! Color your spider web coloring page in various colors as shown below. For best results, be sure to alternate the colors in each space. Make sure that you don't color the spider legs, leave these white.
Leave each of the other pieces on your coloring sheet blank (these will be used to create your spider), unless, of course, you want a black spider or even a brightly colored spider. We liked the contrast of the white spider against the colorful spider web.
STEP THREE: Assemble your spider printable
After you're done coloring the spider printable, it is time to cut out each piece. You will need to cut out the square spider web as well as the two rectangular pieces that will be used to create your 3D paper spider.
Fold and glue each of the two rectangular pieces of paper to create your spider as shown below. It indicates on the printable where to fold and add glue. You will need to ensure the spider's body is in line with the legs that are on the spider web before gluing it in place. The head should be glued just in front of the legs.
That's it! You're all done with this fun Halloween spider craft. How cute does he look!
