How to make a paper plate Santa Claus
STEP ONE: Gather your supplies
Before you get started on your paper plate Santa craft, make sure you have all your supplies. This makes things so much easier as you don't have to run around finding everything!
STEP TWO: Make Santa's face
To get started, cut a paper plate in half to serve as Santa's face. Next, paint the inside portion of the plate with peach (or light pink) coloured paint. Make sure you leave the outer part of the plate white as this will be Santa's beard.
After the paint dries, glue on Santa's eyes and a pom pom for his nose as shown below.
STEP THREE: Make Santa's hat
The next step in making your paper plate Santa Claus craft is of course making his hat! Cut a tall triangle from your red construction paper and glue the paper plate at the base of the triangle, leaving about an inch at the bottom uncovered.
STEP FOUR: Add final details
To finish up your paper plate Santa, glue a cotton ball at the tip of his hat as well as several cotton balls at the top of the paper plate. You're now all done with your Santa paper plate craft! Isn't he so cute?!
