Grinch Coloring Page
STEP 1 - Get the Grinch printable
Let's kick-start this activity! First, scroll to the bottom of this post and grab our free printable Grinch coloring pages.
We have the Grinch, Max his dog and Cindy Lou for you to choose from.
STEP 2 - Add lines to the Grinch coloring page (optional)
This step is optional, but it really adds to the finished coloring page. Using a thin black marker draw lines on the coloring template, filling up each section of the Grinch's face. The lines can be of any size, straight or wavy.
STEP 3 - Color the Grinch characters!
Now, take the crayons or colored pencils and color the Grinch coloring pages. Use your imagination and color them any way you wish, or go for the traditional colors.
To color the Grinch we used green for his face, red for his Christmas hat, yellow for his eyes, and we left the white details of his hat and collar blank, so it looks white.
STEP 4 - Add a background color
To make the characters of Whoville come to life, you need a bright background! We went with different hues of blue but choose your favorite colors.
OPTIONAL - Once you have completed your Grinch coloring pages you might want to frame your coloring.
If you want to do this you'll need to trim off the borders and glue the finished coloring page to your black sheet of paper.
