How to make a paper bag puppet
STEP 1: Gather up your materials
First things first - gather up all the materials that you need for your zebra paper bag puppet. It's so much easier! Grab the template if you haven't yet, by scrolling down below. Print it out onto white paper and cut it out so it's ready right in front of you. The template also includes the pieces needed for our paper bag monkey craft.
STEP 2: Prepare the paper bag
Now, onto the fun stuff! Cut some large white pieces of paper the same size as your paper bag and glue them onto the paper bag on the side where the bottom flap sticks up. Trim off any excess from the edges of the bag.
STEP 3: Create the hooves and stripes
To start forming the zebra craft, trace the hoof template onto white and black paper. Cut it out and glue it onto the front of the paper bag as shown below.
Once you've made the hooves, trace the triangles onto black paper and cut them out. Glue them onto the front of the paper bag as shown below.
STEP 4: Create the face of your zebra
Next, it's time to start forming the face! Trace the ears onto white and pink paper and cut them out. Glue the pink pieces onto the white shapes and then glue them to the top of the paper bag.
After the ears are done, trace the mouth onto grey paper and glue to the front of the bag. Use a black marker to add in the details.
Cut the eyes out and glue them onto the front of the bag as shown below.
STEP 5: Finish up your zebra craft
To finish up your zebra craft, cut a strip of white paper and glue it onto the back of the bag to form the tail. Cut a small piece of black paper and cut some small slits in it before gluing it to the end of the tail.
Your paper bag zebra craft is now complete and you're ready to play!
