How to make a cheesecloth ghost

STEP 1: Cut the cheesecloth to size

Start by preparing your supplies. Blow up your balloon and place it in the container. Then drape your cheesecloth over the balloon and cut it to size. The cheesecloth must be large enough to hang over all the sides of the balloon.

TIP: If you want your ghost to stand up you may choose to cut the cheesecloth so it is slightly larger so it drapes across the balloon and gathers on the surface under your container.

STEP 2: Make the Mod Podge mixture and dip your cheesecloth

To create your ghost craft you will be dipping your cheesecloth into a mixture of Mod Podge and water. The mixture needs to be 2 part Mod Podge to one part water. Stir your mixture and then push the cheesecloth into the mixture making sure it is completely covered.

STEP 3: Lay the Mod Podge soaked cheesecloth over the balloon

Now it is time to create your ghost shape. Take the Mod Podge soaked cheesecloth and gently squeeze off the excess mixture. Lay the cheesecloth over the balloon making sure all 4 sides of the balloon are covered. Allow your cheesecloth and Mod Podge ghost shape to dry overnight (or however long it takes to be fully dry)
