How to make your Chinese New Year Garland Craft
STEP 1: Get the Chinese New Year printable
Start by scrolling down to grab a copy of the printable Chinese New Year garland. Decide which images to include on your decoration and then print them onto thin cardstock. The images available are shown below.
STEP 2: Cut and color your own Chinese New Year Garland
Cut out your chosen Chinese New Year designs and have fun decorating them (if you wish!). You could use markers, watercolor paint, crayons, etc. Once colored you could also add small extras like sequins or enhance details using metallic markers.
STEP 3: Glue Chinese New Year designs onto the ribbon
Take a long stretch of ribbon and glue your Chinese New Year designs onto it. Leave a space between each cutout and at each end for hanging.
