How to Make a Handprint Bunny
STEP 1: Gather your supplies
Before you get started, have your child choose their desired paint colours for their bunny. Lay out all the supplies you need to make this handprint bunny craft easy to do!
STEP 2: Paint your child's hand
To get started, direct your child to hold their hand flat, spreading their middle fingers apart to represent bunny ears. Paint their hand with acrylic paint as shown below, omitting the thumb. Some toddlers and preschoolers may enjoy painting their own hands.
STEP 3: Add handprint to cardstock
Next, firmly press their hand down onto the cardstock paper and lift it straight up. Be careful not to smear the paint too much. Have a bowl of water or some wipes nearby for easy cleanup!
Allow the paint to dry before adding the final details.
STEP 4: Add final details
After the paint has dried, use the pink paint to finish the bunny ears and add a triangle for the nose. Use a black marker to draw the mouth and whiskers. Glue googly eyes and trim around the handprint with scissors
Your bunny handprint is now complete!
